Chief Baker
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, desserts, and specialty baked goods.
- Lead and supervise the bakery team, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
- Plan daily production according to operational requirements.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and assist with stock control.
- Ensure all bakery equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Galley management to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chief Baker or in a senior bakery leadership role.
- Professional culinary or baking qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of artisan breads, pastries, and baking techniques.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
- Fluent in English.
- European passport or valid Schengen Visa required.
