Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, desserts, and specialty baked goods.
  • Lead and supervise the bakery team, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Plan daily production according to operational requirements.
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and assist with stock control.
  • Ensure all bakery equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Galley management to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chief Baker or in a senior bakery leadership role.
  • Professional culinary or baking qualification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of artisan breads, pastries, and baking techniques.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
  • Fluent in English.
  • European passport or valid Schengen Visa required.
